Default GTK1000 build + sheet metal intake starts

We just got in the final pieces needed for this build. Going with a GTK1000, and a new Synapse 50mm gate. 4" downpipe. We started with out standard kits piping. The gate calls for me to modify the current crossover to accept such a large gate. This gate will be vented to atmosphere but will have a bracket connecting it to the downpipe. This just help with carring the load.

Also here are some pics of a new intake. I will create a new thread about the sheet metal and billet intakes we will be offering on custom orders only.

you need to be pushing some major power to spool up that 1000 right? whats it going on , the intake looks cool.

The GTK 1000 is primarily a 76mm with a f1 turbine wheel, bb option and a fancy looking re-flow cover. So it will be just as easy to spool as a regular T-netics 76

Can you explain the intake in a little more detail. It looks like you cut the flanges and injector bung portion of a cast carb manifold off.

How are you going to connect the composite to the cast aluminum and the sheet aluminum?

The turbo will spool quicker then a standard 76 because of the ball bearing, the cover by its design looks to allow more air to get to the compressor wheel. I can tell you this, it free spins extremely easy.
The intake set up is a Diaphorm lower. I will probably be sealing the intake runners to the flanges with rtv.
The intercooler will be bolting to this intake, and the top will be bolting to the intercooler. Primarly designed for larger engines with higher boost. Still specing the intercooler out to give the largest coverage possible.
Going for a cleaner look, and alot less intake charge piping from turbo to engine.

You know I probably will be looking for someone with a large engine to test this unit out. You know anyone.
