Glad ur ok but **** this. Let's pool the 500 bucks and get u another 4.8 and let it eat! Records are not handed out my friend. Never met u or seen the truck but toss one in and turn it down a bit. Run that 9.9! Then either sell the motor or blow it up. I was worried about this happening. My buddy had a 1000 wheel goal in his BMW. We made in on the dyno but put it on the track or highway and the extra load well before the rpm of the peak power at the dyno exceed the 1000 wheel and she lifted head.

I'm in for $50 towards another 4.8. Who's w me?

Damn, sad day but I'm with Choda!!! Just get an 07+ 4.8 with the beefier rods and the 243/799 heads Built motors are overrated! Most everybody that gets one have more problems than with the stock ones...

Anything happen to the turbo?

I'm in for $50, but the only difference I would like to see is stock rings filed. And maybe the combustion chambers opened up to lower compression.

Looks like you were either going to run 9's or make 900 RWHP, and 900 RWHP came first. I'm very interested to see if the rods were bent.

Glad to hear you and red are OK.

I'd go with another 4.8, they have a much better rod angle to deal with the high hp and rpm.
