Default exhaust system

Ive got a whipple charged 4.8 l. Current exhaust is pacesetter long tubes, 0ry with no cats, y'd back into 1 single 3 inch, into a single 3" inlet dual 2.5 outlet magnflow. Running dual 2.5 OUTER diameter pipes to the back. Necking down again to 2.25 outer diameter right at the tips... ..... Just before i had all the engine mods done, my stock system had rotted out, so i took it to a muffler shop. and this is what they gave me. Didnt have the headers or the y pipe at that time.. So,, after the supercharger and cam, it dynoed at 460 at the tires on a dynojet. I feel like the exhuast is very likely holding me back some.. I want to run dual 3" with an x pipe into 2 magnaflow round 3" in/out, then 2.5" from the mufflers to the tips.. The tips have an extension coming out that is 2.5 id then necks down to 2.25, hence why the previous shop necked it down right at the tips. I can cut off half the extension and make it straight 2.5. what are your thoughts as to if anything is to gain with re doing it all again? thanks

Honestly I'd keep it simple, keep the headers and ORY as is, and run either a single 3" or 3.5" exhaust and be done. There's really no reason to run a dual 3" exhaust unless you had some twin turbos or something insane. It would be overkill for most situations.
