up and forward might be a possibility but down and forward would probably be aiming right at all kinds of stuff, motor mounts, ac pump, brackets... been looking at the rear manifold of front wheel drive ls motors as a possible candidate for the right hand side on something... has the merge built right in.
Yes it does appear that they would be in the way of things, but looking at the pair I have next to the truck manifolds they have a slightly different angle to them. I'm thinking it may be enough to clear everything if they're pointed forward but it's close enough to not be sure unless I can trial fit them in the truck. I've been looking at the LS4 manifolds also, but I don't feel like having a 5th set of manifolds sitting around lmao.
Black04, good point. Do you know if they are supporting the turbo or just trying to hang off the manifold? That did worry me a bit.

The one I saw didnt have a turbo on the manifolds. It just had pipes bolted to that flange and routed to the turbo in a different spot. Ill see if i can dig it up. You could probably cut those flanges off and weld on vbands.
Yea unfortunately it looks like there is no way that LS4 manifold can be used on the right bank upside down. The crossover would exit right where our A/C is. Oh well.
