Well we all know many races are won out of the hole especially in the 1/8th which is what I'll run. Do you think it will 60' with a stock converter? It cut a 1.99 stock @ 2300. I would think a blower would push it up a bit.

Making 400 to tire on 93 with 33's on 6 lbs tvs1900 stock everything else. Corn ran about 25hp more. I have lt1 pump if i want to turnit up as fuel system pretty close to maxed out on corn fuel. This setup has been on truck since new and now has 45k odo, super conservative timing as this is wifes and ride and the tow rig. Biggest issue is heat so recently got big 5 gal tank, bilge pump, and 2nd pass hx.

I'm surprosed to hear heat is an issue with such low boost. What pulley is on the truck?

Just got off the phone with Brian...2.9 Whipple ordered and paid. Should have it in 10-14 days. Happiness again!

Another question, since we all know satisfaction is temporary, at what level of boost is belt slip a problem with the 6 rib? 10lbs? 12lbs? I wish they offered an 8 rib upgrade as it comes. I would rather start out with what I need anyway.
I had problems with the 6 rib setup at 7lbs of boost and spun my crank damper on the crank shaft at that level as well......but I also knew I was headed for more boost down the road so I pieced together an 8rib setup so it was ready to go when I upgraded from the MP112 to MP122. oh, and pin your crank man!

Do they make pulleys for them? I know a few guys ran into issues finding pulleys
