I dont think you will have any issues with drive pressure with 2 45mm gates, bigger chargers are harder to control with low boost but you should be fine. Im going to run a single 45mm with my s472.

If i had to do it all over i would be using a s472. Its a little small, but it would be a lot of fun for the 600-700 hp range. I'm really interested to see how this 80m comes on.

Excellent work!

Drive pressure is more a function of engine size and turbine size. Having a lot of wastegate means you can run really low boost, but to run more boost you have to use less wastegate so drive pressure goes back up.

Drive pressure isnt a bad thing per se, it allows really fast spool and good driving manners, but in a race setup you want it as low as possible.

This is going to be soooo fun to watch. Jose at FI tried to talk me into an S480 for my 4.8L build. Now I get to see what I missed out on

To much drive pressure is bad though, can lead to other issues.

1:1 is what i always go for, if you can get less drive than boost then you have a very efficient setup. I know in the diesel world its extremely important as some of those trucks run like 2:1 which is horrible
