The 5.3 should have plenty of nut before you need to swap to the 6.2.

Without some sort of track run or dyno pull its hard for us to help you here. I have all the confidence in the world you would be able to put that truck in the 10's with that blower on that engine with the right mods around it.

Hahaa... funny story I have to tell about coming home today after work! Ok it's raining alot here in Central Ms. today and you guys see that I have been bitchin about my power level not being enough since the blower install. Well I couldn't hardly make it home today with wet streets, blower, converter, even the 3.08 gears didn't help much. This ****** spun at every light and cars behind me were flashing there lights, blowing horns and passing me as I was sitting still! Wild **** here guys! Yeah I had to put the 3.08's back in because the 9.76 w/3.73's started howling for no reason and it's a real snail now.

Sure have been thinking about it and do a blower cam before it goes in! Probably go up in header size too, 1 7/8 or 2"

I'm having to buy in small purchases so the wife doesn't get irate + Christmas shopping and a 17 year old daughter! Geez.... BTW as far as Dyno and street tuning who nows there **** on these Gen V motors?

I don't know if moving to a 2" header will gain much may hurt, just a thought.

Yeah I have talked to a couple of guys about it and both said it could go either way... might bump up or might lay flat. With the compression these motors have and boosted one would think it would pick up a bit but I don't know **** from **** so that's why i'm asking. Somebody had ARH build them a set of 2"ers and it did bump power upper area and didn't kill low or mid either, that was a couple years ago and haven't seen any update on that build. Haha and can't remeber where saw it to be honest.

I would def. go blower cam, decent springs and melling HV oil pump. It's is a crap shoot on LT size but may lower boost. Sounds like your on the right track man!!!!

From what I've heard if you had to do it by email New Era Performance in NY is probably as good as it gets on '14 and up.
