2005 NBS Silverado build
First off let me give credit where it's due. Kbracing's log design is genius and I based my log design on his. Specs are as follows so far:
Hot side:
Master Power t70 .96 AR
Truck didn't respond to anymore timing and I was unwilling to turn the boost up any more. I think the turbo is too small.
Hot side:
Master Power t70 .96 AR
304l stainless steel log(2.5 in sched 40, joined to a mild steel flange with 309l rod)
Crossover: 2.5" 304l ss .065 wall tube(sourced from Amazon.com)
Downpipe: 3" 304 SS .065 tube( not sure about how far I want to run the full exhaust yet)
Waste gate/Bov: VS racing 60mm/50mm
Boost controller: NXS works beautifully, I did have to trim the spring to achieve the desired boost pressure.
Flanges: V band on the driver's side crossover and down pipe. I will be making my own t4 and driver's side exhaust flange from 3/8 304 SS plate sourced from a local distributor.
Cold side:
Intercooler: treadstone 1245 with a custom bracket made from a500 .75" tube
Cold pipe: universal 3" aluminum stuff from Amazon.com( I had to modify the plastic headlight housings to plumb it the way I wanted, I still might do it out of 304 SS later on in the build. Im not great at Tig welding aluminum yet.)

Made a small amount of progress today. Cut and drilled a t4 flange from 3/8 thick 304l SS. I plan on doing the same thing for the exhaust manifold flange.
Cuts like a knife through butter, I definitely prefer this method compared to plasma or chop saw.
Thank you Swag Off-road, I have debated being a floor mounted band saw but their conversion kit turned my portable Milwaukee into a bench mount.

Made some progress on the hot side.
how does the location look to you guys? I noticed that the turbo flange will need to be notched to accommodate the oil return line fitting. Is this common? I also have a decision to make regarding a speed density tune or Maf, what would you do? I DD'd a speed density tuned trans am for years and loved it, is driveability different with a turbocharged engine?

3" is probably ok, but I would go for 3.5" if you can.
A lot of guys use an elbow off the drain flange (not recommend), but I used a 4-5" 1/2" NPT pipe to go below the flange on mine.
Why were you making your own flange? You know those are dirt cheap off the shelf right? Good work!
