Default input on proper turbo for lq4

I plan on turboing a stock lq4 with a 4l80e in my 92 typhoon build. The motor will be built at a later date just want to get the bugs worked out frist. Im looking for 750hp to the wheels with a built motor. I will be drive as much as possable on the roads. I have been looking at the S475 with 1.32 or 1.1 housing. Will it spool with the 1.32 before 3.5K -4k on stock displacement? also would i be pushing it to hard to get it to 750hp mark. The other option is to man up and go with a s480 with 1.32 or 1.1 housing. Any input would help

I have an S475 with the 1.10 exhaust housing, and I was trying for several hours yesterday to get it into the 700s on a 6.0. Boost kept falling off no matter what I did, it just wouldn't hold the boost once the engine started consuming a lot of air. Better man up and go S480

Are you on a stock 6.0 or built?

Stock 6.0. Spool time is affected by a lot of different factors, so I don't really subscribe to the RPM-spool-time thing. Messing around with a friend on the street last night, I went WOT at 2k and had full boost by 5k, but the downshift really jacked up that RPM number... On the dyno rolling into it real slowly converter locked in 3rd gear, it started building boost by 2900 and was full by 4100. I have a quick spool valve and check ball style boost controller, so mine is going to spool faster than just a regular T6 BW.

What dyno, timing, and cam are you running? The S475 should do over 700HP on pretty much any dyno if everything is right. Maybe that shifting was robbing you.

You couldnt get 700rwhp with an S475? What kind of dyno?

SilveradoL33 made 681 with an S468 on a 5.3 thru an 80e, 14sf and 35" tires. And Dadkins made 825 with a S374 on a LQ9 but that was through an M6.

It was a mustang dyno. This turbo would make more power on a 5.3. The more boost you put to these borg warners, the more efficient they are. Just need to convince Kyle to let me have his S480 one he's done messing with it on the dyno

What are you thoughts about a Master power t76 or maybe a t88?
