Default New Setup

This is the third motor and third trans in this truck in a year 1/2 .

Current set up is in my signature.

Last Monday I went to dyno the truck with the new cam and nitrous. We did a 2nd grear pull for a baseline and the truck did 318 na. Made some changes and tried a 3rd gear pull. The truck made it to 5500 rps and 126 mph when the u joints failed and made the drive shaft go crazy. Half the shaft went flying out the passenger side, thank go no one was around. We turned the lights off and came back the next day to fix.

I got a new shaft and parts for the transfer case and tranny and was back up the next night thanks to Jeff Jr.

Black Friday we went at it again this time we played it safe and did all 2nd gear pulls.

Long and short the truck did 339whp/ 307 tq NA and 429whp/ and 456 tq on 150 shot. All in second gear with a unlocked converter. I am very happy with the na numbers although i was looking for a bit more. Still for a 6000# work truck daily driven its okay in my book....for now. Turbo in the spring

Decent.

I think those stock shafts are only good till 100 mph anyway before they tend to shake apart. I think the big boom tube AL shafts that are 5in round in the center are stronger. Could be wrong though.
