OD, check. And the smallest blower pulley they made for this blower. I would have to measure it, I don't remember the size.

Cool! A turbo taking in hot air from the radiator, no intercooler, and a blow-through carb. Let me think if I should go that way, done thinking, no.

I guess that setup would work if you are running alcohol. Is that the case?

There is a shroud around the fan and a fresh air supply coming from a big hole by the head light. It's on gas. You get a tremendous amount of air cooling from a carb as the gas goes from a liquid to a vapor. I'm gonna get a duel iat gauge and see just what kind of before and after carb temps I have. It's running about 9lbs on a cammed stock 5.3 and it's a blast to drive! Probable around 500hp and truck only weighs about 3500lbs. It's in my 69 c-10 pickup so having an old school carb look is on point for the setup! The carb just adds cool points.

carburetors can get away with a lot more boost without an intercooler than a LS style EFI system. the dense fuel charge from the top of the intake has time to effectively cool the hot turbo charge before it makes it to the cylinder. 93 octane cools the charge tremendously. then you can step up to e85 if you need. there are alcohol race cars running 30+ lbs boost with zero heat issues. i'm sure an intercooler can help a carb setup, but does the benifit outweigh the weight and plumbing of an intercooled system?

kyle, is that a home brew carb, or did you drop the coin on a CSU or other custom carb?
