I'm giving these a try. Their pretty popular over in Lightning camp. Also their meaty as hell. When I lifted the driver side head the br7ef in that hole had starter to melt at the tip. Was more of a fuel issue on that case, but I just wanted a colder heat range then the 7s.

Not really worth the risk of preignition... The BR7EF and BR7EFS have proven themselves in too many 4 digit power builds to count.

im from the lightning crowd and dont know of anyone using those, Br7ef is the plug you were looking for unless you wanted a 8 series

projected tip is better suited for a NA setup

Yeah George I was just going off a search and all the threads that popped up from people who used them.

I just got off the phone with Dave at Autolight. After a good 45 minutes of plug 101 and after he looked at the plug he suggested to go colder 2 ranges. I asked about going with a nonprojection tip and he said he'd recommend AR473 for 25psi and if I wanted to put a light shot on top.

Does NGK make a non-project tip that's a -8? I only seen projection. I'd like something colder then a 7.
