After doing some research I'm gonna split my L92 intake and port it like PeakSpeed and give it a go. If you compare the stock L92 to the Fast LSXRT the runners look really similar. Worst that can happen is that I'm out on time and Tuning $$ and I have a plastic piece of junk afterwards - lol

I'm still waiting to hear from BTR about that Cam - seems they don't like to respond to their FB messages so I'll have to email them or call.

Can't turn back now....and not gonna lie, I'm no scientist nor am I a pit crew chief, but this intake when ported should flow a f_ckload

Id be concerned about it not sealing back up, guess you plastic weld them back together?

Yeah plastic-weld or JB Weld. I'll probably JB Weld and then do a smoke test and see how it holds up and if need be plastiweld it. There's plenty of meat for the two halves to attach to so I'm not worried. I remember a long time ago someone posted a video of the intake manifold flexing in and out as they revved the engine but I think they only used rtv to seal the two halves.

Who knows it may be garbage but it's a project to keep me busy and out of trouble.

When i goose the throttle, the top and sides of the intake flexes, looks like its breathing!!!

Took me a while but I found the video...


It actually needs center supports on the inside of the manifold to prevent the flexing.
