Need to free up some power with a true dual exhaust and a few other tweaks but... here it is so far. 370rwhp/386tq

Seems kinda low for your mods especially on a dyno jet. But take her to the track as thats where the real truth lies

Yeah...she seems to pull a lot harder than the numbers reflect. I'm not too wrapped around the HP #s - more interested in street performance at this point.

those numbers do sound low but like mentioned, track times prove everything and dynos hurt feelings

What is your current exhaust setup? Hard to believe it could be choked that bad.

Just running a pair of shorty headers into the stock Y-pipe through a Banks exhaust. And true, dyno #s can be a little misleading - especially depending on the setup. Like I said, she runs strong on the street and that's what I was looking for.

Been awhile but the tune on this first dyno was crap (IMO). Now tuned by Alvin @ PCM of NC so I need to get her back on. Just dropped on the Kooks LTs and HF cats. Should be pushing 400 now...I hope...thoughts?

Eh,

Maybe.

Have them to a pull with the converter locked and then one unlocked. Do this for 2nd and 3rd gear.

You'd be surprised at the difference in numbers.

If the stall is loose, it will cost some power but once locked, it shouldn't matter.

Yea I bet you will be right near 400/400 now. I had a similar issue with my truck when I first had a cam swap done and dynoed. Numbers seemed ok but low. Dyno tune from the place that did the swap was crap. Had it retuned by Justin and added LTs/ORY and 3" ehaust. Comparing my data logs from right after the dyno session to now, I've picked up 30/20. Your setup should do well for sure.

I'll be swapping out the cam soon as well before I drop on the LSXRT and 102mm TB. Since I'll have the intake done at the tuner's shop I'll have the tune tweaked as well. Hoping to but up near 425-435 after the more aggressive cam (I left it mild since I was going to go boost) since I'm keeping it NA. Will post the results when I get it done. Thanks for the feedback.
