baby cam 5.3 dyno
Went to a car show today and they had a dyno there so I decided to see what my truck would make
2001 extended cab sierra
230k 5.3, tsp long tubes, cai, custom true duals, heavy 22's with 3.42 gears, custom cam by tick performance. Tq converter was locked, timing is at 28* and 12.8 afr. It's a small cam designed for tq 215/219 .603/.608 112+3.
Made 300 even and right around 325 tq, I was most impressed about the flat tq curve.
does this look about right for the mods? i will attach a copy of my tune, maybe some experts can give me some tips to help it out a little more.

The tune looks alright to me, maybe 2 things could use attention.
The MAF curve has 2 small dents that shouldnt be there, kinda like small hiccups. One jumps up, the other down, it should be a smoother curve.
And the VE can always be tuned with a wideband to help more, could be smoother aswell.
And your enrichment ramp in rate is still stock, I tend to bump that up just a little to make sure fuel gets there quick when you want to enter PE. You could also put your enable torque to 75% because you maxed out all your torque mngt table under engine.

Thanks man, ill look at it. The VE and MAF were both tuned with a wideband. What do you usually set you enrichment ramp to? I am not seeing an enable tq tab but im not sure how it would matter when i have the tq management tuned off completely.

Like 1 to 1.5 for a NA motor is good.
The enable tq is in the same box that has PE "enable", it goes map kpa, map hyst, enable tq and torque hyst.
If I understand the way it works, if your tq mngt settings are maxxed out at 640 and the enable tq is set up for 100%, you'll never make that amount of torque. Thats why I lower the % number to something it can see. I couldnt tell you if it's doing anything with your setup but it's just something I'd personally change.
