ahhhh you guys are killing me! I always told my self that if I ever did the triple 12 cam, then I would do the whole works on the top end. And with that added power I would be more nervous about my 70e.

Cant you guys just support me with my goal of getting a 2014 CC 6.2 ASAP??? lol. You know once I get it, itll be tuned by New Era and then Turbo. Lets keep the big picture!!!

I would be worried about the 70E as it sits. Even a built 70E in your setup its like dating a hot chick with a STD. Heavy truck + Big Torque + Lead Foot = inevatible BOOM!

I've been over 450 wheel for a year and had the tranny tore down last month just to see how it's holding. Everything was perfect and my builder said well that was a waste of 300 bucks.

I agree!

Throw the triple 12 in, get the BTR dual springs and whatever pushrods you need and let it eat at the same boost level. Should have no problems making useful power all the way to 6400.

I agree but now add lifters and studs and gaskets and weekend of down time to do it. Then in a 18 months when this one is paid off Id either trade it in as is or de mod it. Errrrr. I have a feeling I'm going to lose this built tranny w the trade in already. Can't find a stock 4l70e for the life of me.

U guys think it'd make another 50 wheel just w the cam? Same 12 psi and 93 fuel, maybe some more timing and raising the limiter? With the other goodies i would think I could turn the boost up a couple lbs too? Right now my combo is very reliable and all I do is beat on it, get gas and change the oil. I need to make sure it stays this way. Remember this is my DD.

I bet it would put down more than 50rwhp with just the cam swap on 12psi. But like you said, if you are wishing for a newer truck, then do that first so you don't regret spending the time/money on something your going to get rid of.

Dude, I gained a solid 40hp with just the triple 12 and heads slightly milled. So add boost on top and another 50hp would be easy.

I appreciate all the input but I think I'll leave it alone and put that money toward the balance and into the new truck.
