Pre Built Back Half and Cage Options
Hey guys,
I come from the 2500/3500 diesel truck world so bear with me. But I am looking to build a 2002+ RCSB 2wd drag truck and I am looking to see if there are any "mail order" rear back half kits and pre bent cage kits out there.
I called SW and they are going to get with me Monday but I wanted to check here, maybe there is a vendor yall use often for this kind of stuff.
Also need a fab 9in housing ect.
Truck will be getting a LML....

Several companies offer it if you can provide some basic dimensions.
Although not on Trucks, I have used Art Morrison for 2x3 back half's on a few cars. There Rails are really nice.
Off the top of my head here are some of the players in the Universal chassis Kits and Fab housings.
Art Morrison
Chris Alston Chassisworks
Chassis Engineering
Quarter Max (RJ Race Cars)
Auto Weld Chassis
Applied Racing Technology (A.R.T.)
Although S&W has alot of stuff, I personally have not been a big fan of there 2x3 rails. The seem to be the most wrinkled in the Bend area's
It all depends on what you're looking for though.

Probably just going to have the backhalf done completely in chromoly tube...seems that way we are open to more options as to how we want to set the truck up.

Personally, I wouldn't suggest using anything of Art Morrison unless he his customer service habits have improved considerably. He is pretty **** poor when it comes to the DIY'er with tech questions.
