I cannot find any information on the muncie 5 speed transmissions(specifically one in a 2006). It looks as though the input shaft has formed a grove near the end of the shaft on a 5 speed out of a 2006 silverado 4.3 I picked up at pull a part. I was wondering if this affects the way the transmission shifts/works. If so, I would like to get a new input shaft, but I cannot find any parts for this transmission. Anyone know what these ones are identified as? Or where I can get an input shaft?
