Ive been chasing a front end vibration/ shimmy for a few weeks now,

Ive installed
- New wheel bearings on each side
- Tires are rebalanced
- New outer tie rods
- New upper ball joints


One thing I notice now is one of my inner tie rods has a very small amount of play, Could that alone cause drive line vibration 50mph +

The one other thing i'm thinking of that I haven't changed yet are the brake rotors , But if that was the case it would only vibrate when braking not all the time ?

any other suggestions, ( I do plan on changing the inner tie rod this week )

Is it worse when on the gas, than off the gas or is it all the time shake?

Worn u-joints, bad cv axles can cause vibrations.

I'd even have the tires road force balanced, one might have alot of road force and be causing the shake. It may balance fine a normal tire machine and have minimal hop while spinning but it can still be a bad tire.

Doesn't change when I let off the gas, I even poped it in neutral and its the same.

Can a Inner tie rod cause vibration ? I always thought it caused noise if it went bad not vibration

Highly unlikely to cause any sort of vibration.

I call it "chevy play", a known term in my parts for anything marginal thats front end related on GM trucks. If you had a very bad outer tie rod end, then that might be a cause for concern but minimal inner tie rod movement is something I don't even bat an eye at.

Only thing that sucks is that when you replace that inner tie rod, you will have to get another alingment done. Assuming you just spent money getting one done after the new bal joints and outers.
