Default Trick Turbo SBE 5.3L Finally in the 10s

Hey all thought i would show a few pics of my truck at the track yesterday. Finally got into the 10s ended up running a 10.91 @ 124.45 on 18lbs of boost on Michelin 265/60/18 radials which I aired down 22psi. Once I got the shock settings and Cal Tracs preload dialed in she was 60ft'ing 1.65 consistently which I'm really stoked on. I'm confident I could get this thing into the 1.5x range with a fresher set of tires and some more track time and maybe a 2-step. For now I'm really happy with this stock bottom end 5.3. Thank you Atomic for reviewing my logs while I was at the track! I never would have turned up the boost without your reassurance!

It's possible but I'm kinda curious how far I can go on normal tires. The most rewarding part was getting the street tires to hook. I never thought they would and promised myself this would be the last track outing I made with these tires but now that it hooks it really has me curious. I wonder what the best and consistent 60ft guys have gotten on 17/18/20" normal tires is?

Thanks man, as you know well with 4WD and a good shifting auto trans, the runs are pretty damn effortless. I've had 12 sec stick shift cars that were way scarier going down the track. This truck just stays in the groove the whole way and just hits the gears hard. I don't think I'll ever own anything but shift kitted auto's again.

Thanks, my truck hasn't been without issues, no one has, but in a sea of hellcats, cts-v's, magnacharged camaros, it still takes work to make a truck fast. I think that's why they get a lot of respect.

Awesome! I'm still digging on that lowered truck! Last I remembered you made
650hp on 15psi - any new numbers since you increased boost? Also, which 76mm are you running? Keep up the good work!
