Kurt wanted me to post this up for him.
We had his truck at New England Dragway this past Saturday and it ran awesome! He had just swapped to a smaller pulley and we were dialing in the tune. We made a few 1/8 mile passes, and just before they closed gave it one for all the money. What is most impressive is the MPH. 131.7 MPH and there is more to be had in cooler air. He hit 105.5 in the 1/8 mile! Just goes to show you what kind of HP this truck is making.
We saw a peak of 14PSI and the truck weighed in at 4175 that day.
He is the new record holder. That's with a 60' time that leaves a ton on the table... look for a LOT more from him before this season is out. I don't want to speak out of school, but we have our sights set on a fairly lofty goal.
His 60' will improve a lot, but the track is the only place we can dial it in seeing as there is 0 traction on the street. His converter is very tight for the combo, the Yank PT2800MD, but its working great and as we improve his bottom end power it will only work better.
The time slip is attached.
Congrats Kurt. It hasn't come without its frustrations, and he has certainly put in the work.
