No, it was on a 29x11.50x15 Hoosier QuickTime Pro. Just cause he drove thru the gate doesn't mean he couldn't change tires when he got there.

I am sure the truck has more in it as, like mentioned in the original post, the track wasn't up to par due to the diesel trucks. It was getting better for me towards the end of the day after they were thru. Weather was mid 70's and humid with a decent cross wind.

Congrats on the new pb Rob! It was a pleasure hanging out with you and the little lady and seeing your truck run soo well at the event. Hate you had to leave early Saturday night but glad you make it home OK. btw.. here are a couple vids my brother got of you...

I think the coolest thing is you drive that truck hours away, and beat on it, and drive it back.

I knew those slicks weren't gonna work especially on an 11" , how bad did it rub? Or did it not fit period?

Hey thanks guys! Truck is still on the 72mm and yeah I was running the qtp's. That second video was my first run and likely would have been my fastest as it was a 1.51 60, but some how I didn't get a good bump on the rachet shifter and stayed in first. Never done the before and never did it again on the next 5 passes. Was a bummer to, I wanted a good race with that nastey dodge and he ran a 11.1 on that pass.

Slow the slicks should have fit if I was on a 10" rim. It was close.

Thought this was a Stree Tire Shootout.

What was all the talk about street tires a few weeks ago?
