Default M&H radials 275/50/17???

I've got a cammed 01 single cab 5.3 with a 3000-3200 stall and a 150 shot. I wanna be able to stall up as high as I can and leave at full throttle on the track. Will the M&H 275/50/17 radials on a set of stock 17" wheels do the trick? Current best time is a 14.1 and best 60' is a 2.0 on street tires before spray. Hoping for a 1.6-1.8 60' and low 13's? What do y'all think? I'm ordering tires today and was just gonna get some opinions.

Thanks in advance!

Let me know how you like the 275/50 M&H. About to order the same tire myself. Post up some pictures when you get them mounted up.

I had those at one point...best I ran was 1.39 60ft and 6.39 1/8th with them. They are good, just wear very fast on a fullsize truck. I am 4wd.
