Default a little help with slicks (dot) please

Hello everyone,
I HAVE A 00 RCSB WITH A 2/4 DROP looking at doing some dot's this summer was thinking about doing the suv rear brakes on.. it will 16" wheels work and what size slicks are you guys running?? Thanks in advance

Slicks for a 16" wheel will be extremely limited. Unfortunately this is why many people are swapping to the rear drums.

Slicks aren't at all limited for 16" the most common is a 28x11.50-16. I have E.T. Streets.

I run mh racemaster and cut 1.5 60fts on 18 rkms

Yeah I don't want to go rear drums I was looking at maybe looking into 17" slicks also

The SUV brakes are going to limit you to a 17" wheel. If you grind the heck out of the calipers you might fit a 16". Are you talking a dot approved slick or an actual drag radial ?

I'm thinking about both the Mickey et street odds a true dot slick just wanted some input from you guys

These are Hoosier 16"

I have not been able to hit 1.4 sixtys. I probably need a little more power off the line or more rear gear to achieve that.
