This was my first pass ever. Truck spun A LOT.... Street tires problems. It ran an 8.89 @ 81 and wasn't shifting into overdrive at the 550ft so it was bouncing the rev limiter. Didn't even attempt a nitrous pass.

It shouldn't be reaching 4th gear at those speeds.

I think you mean it's hitting the 2-3 shift and hitting the rev limter.

No just wouldn't hit high gear. Literally bounced off the rev limiter and didn't shift. Did fine on the way home but I foresee an 80e swap in the near future.

Actually now that I look back it was the 2/3 shift. Just did it on the track under WOT.... Driving home it did just fine.

Did you change to a different tire for the track? I did this without adjusting the tune and had issues bouncing off the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift.

New time tonight since my 4l80e swap. 8.58@ 83mph on 275/55/16 radials. No spinning and it was running rich. I haven't touched the nitrous yet. Should run well when we get the tune dialed in and get it on the bottle. Btw I had shity 2.0 60's.
