drag shocks for 2005 rcsb
Hey guys, I searched and never found a definite answer and got flamed for digging an old thread. So, I'm looking at the competition engineering drag shocks. Would the 20610 and 2735 shocks be the correct choice for my 2005 reg cab sierra? All I have is 2" shackles in the rear, but there's been enough weight reduction in the rear that it still sits close to stock

Does QA1 make a Stocker Star R single for our trucks? That would be my choice up front. I'd do a single QA1 on the rear personally. Double adj. are $$$ and depending on what you are doing it is overkill. I retro fitted the stocker star R into the front of the Aspen since you can't get an Aspen/Volare adjustible shock that bolts in. (Oddball Dodge guy propblems) and its more than enough. CE shocks are a waste of $$ in my opinion. buy new stock shocks if thats the case LOL.

I have worn out stock shocks right now. It actually doesn't do too bad. I think my shocks being worn out helps transfer the weight back. But it doesn't hold it back. The truck is so bouncy it's crazy. Even a small dip in the road makes it bounce 3 or 4 times hard enough that it rocks me around in the cab enough to flare the throttle abit. It was horrible with the stock 05 accelerator pedal being so soft. I replaced the pedal spring with a windshield wiper arm spring to stiffen the pedal and make it less sensitive. Feels perfect to me. But the truck still rocks like a baby cradle when I hit bumps

That is what I am running on my 09 and they work good, the wife is cutting a pretty consistent 1.7 60'. She was cutting about a 1.9 60' before we put them on. The only thing is go easy on the adjustment ***** they seem like the week link on them.
