Default Any ideas on ET?

I was hoping some of you might have some idea of what my truck would run in the 1/4. Due to health issues, I don't know when the headers or Y pipe will get installed. Nor do I know when I would get to take the truck to the track after the parts are installed. That's my reason for asking for an idea on what it would run with the parts on. Thanks in advance.

Probably around a 15 second 1/4 mile. Maybe high 14s.

Wish you were closer, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand and turn some wrenches to get those parts on the truck. Do you have any baseline #'s for the truck stock? Or as is?

I'd say that is likely accurate depending on weather and elevation.

I appreciate the kind words friend .

No baseline numbers. I found where Car & Driver did a review & posted the times they got, but I don't know how accurate they would be. Here is what they posted in the article,

0-60 @ 8.8 seconds

1/4 mile in 16.8 seconds @ 84 mph

Weather obviously depends; the track elevation is around 171 feet above sea level.

I agree with the current guesses at high 14s being the goal.

Stick a converter in it and you should be rocking solid 14s.

I think you'd be lucky to knock a second off of the stock time. But alot depends the weather of the two conditions also.
