Default is this about right???

Hey fellas took the 4.8 SCSB 4X4 out last night to the local track.. I'm not sure whether to be disappointed or not.. I am a bit.. its a 6766 billet Precision, valve springs, return system E85.. stock 4L80 with a 2200 stall stock converter (fins cut down by local shop) stock 3.42 gears, stock 265/70 Michelin tires.. 15 psi of boost..

best pass was a 13.20 @108... best 60 was a 2.18.. which is were its leaving a lot on the table...

not to mention the trans was shifting early for some reason.. and i could almost finish the whole quarter in second gear!!!

With the 80e i think u need alot more rear gear. I know generally a higher ratio is more perferred but with the 80e 1st gear your 3.42 gears are more along the lines of 2.84 in comparison with the 60e 1st gear
Thats my opinion but i am still new to the turbo stuff

And you definately need more stall

I think I'm going to try the converter first... setting up two gear swaps isn't in the cards..
