I know this is about your race truck but how do you like pulling with your other 1500? Is it the 8 speed or the 6 speed.

It actually pulls it very easy. Its a 2015 crew cab 4wd 5.7 with 8sp transmission and 3.92 gears. My trailer is not light, so the truck/trailer combo is about 7500lbs plus another couple hundred lbs of tools in the bed. Getting up to speed isnt bad, but a trailer brake controller is definitely needed to get this thing to stop.

The truck is lowered 2/3 with Airlift helper bags in the rear. Next upgrade will be a weight distribution hitch to see if I can level out the back a little better. I would like to pull the truck up a little further on the trailer, but the increased tongue weight pulled the rear of the crew cab down another 1/2". Hoping the new hitch will help with that.
