11 Second N/A 5.7 Ram - Barely
Hey guys. I'm new here, but just wanted to share a little about my truck. I have a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 that I bought strictly to play with. I started off with all the basic bolt on parts, 4.10 gears, and 3400 stall converter. Ended up running a best of 12.49 @ 106mph.
Since then, I have installed ported stock heads, 214/222 cam, 4.56's, slightly more aggressive converter, and rear coilovers. I finally cracked an 11.998 @ 110.66mph last Friday with the new setup. I dont think it has much more in it N/A, so I will be throwing a bottle on it soon to shoot for that 10.99 on the stock bottom end. I would love to throw a bigger cam and converter at it to keep working at the N/A time, but I have a forged 392" ready to go in and am anxious to get rolling on that build.
End goal is to get this truck in the 9's, so I have a lot of work ahead of me. Here is an idle video showing the rear suspension and a pic of the 11.99 slip...

I appreciate it. And yes, that was my silver one years ago. Never went faster than 12.8 in that truck because of a lack of tuning at the time. These trucks have come a long way since then.

I thought the name looked familiar, i use to have a 03 as well and went the LS route not long after because of the same tuning reasons. But not before i stole this idea, bring back any memories..?
Good luck with the new truck, i wouldnt mind owning a new rcsb dodge again myself actually.
