Has anyone swapped in a modern Hemi into their 1st gen Ram? I'm thinking of doing the swap and selling my new truck... I miss driving my old Dodge

It's a '91 D150 with TBI 318... and it's a dud.

It's possible, engine mounts, tranny mounts and such will probably be the biggest pain. If your gonna do a modern hemi, go for the 6.1L, they are stout.

I won't need to re-do my tranny, the modern Hemis bolt up to my A-518 already in the truck. Motor mounts are sold by Stree & Performance. They're currently doing a moder Hemi swap into a '93 Ramcharger... so it's all about having them on my speed dial.
