Default 06+ JGC 4.7L common mods?

What's out there for these in the aftermarket?

Headers, custom tuning avail or would I have to go with a diablosport or something like that?

Trying to decide whether or not I want to stick with a GM product or make the switch over to chrysler products.

You can add a 70mm TB, and the better flowing 08 intake.
I can help with both if you are interested.

Thanks.

^yup the '08 intake is certainly an improvement. there is an outfit that offers ported heads for the 4.7L with decent flow numbers, there are short tube headers available which would be a slight improvement but they tend to be pretty expensive. if you can find a set of H.O. cams definitely jump on them unless you already have an H.O. engine, I'm not familiar with what they put in the jeeps. after you get some parts lined out you'll want to look into tuning, i haven't dealt with them but i've heard decent things about Dodge, Jeep & Chrysler Tuning | Jeep Chip | Dodge Programmer & More and they can probably write you a solid tune for an SCT tuner. after that gears would be a big help but beyond that there's not much left to do unless you plan to spend a lot of money and have someone you can take the rig to in person to tune it right. these little engines do have potential but there's just not much aftermarket support out there and what exists is expensive. Visit http://www.airram.com, they're the best source for real 4.7L performance parts i've found so far.
