Exactly. I would have liked the 8 speed but like a little more control than that rotary ****. That being said, i couldn't be happier with the purchase, i am loving the truck.

Truck listedfor 31570, they knocked off 6500.

And i just learned last night that HP Tuners just started supporting the 2014 Rams 2 days ago. Looks like Wheatley is going to be getting ahold of my truck next week sometime.

Yeah, they have been rolling out support for many new vehicles as of late.

The new VCM scanner beta will be out shortly aswell, allowing better data logging of these newer pcm's.

Sorry to hear about the wife but congrats on the truck. I miss the days of my RCSB... My Suburban is nice and all I just can't get out of my own way lol. Can't wait to see what you do with it, the Rams are growing on me.

Thanks, the wife thing. Ehhh i'm getting over it.

The truck is already pretty damn fast right out of the box. Got the windows tinted today and a 9" black powdercoat billet antenna. Exhaust didn't happen, going a different route than originally planned. I ordered my mufflex performance exhaust system today and listed the muffle i was going to use for sale. Next week should have an appointment with wheatley for a custom tune. After that i for sure want a Vararam air grabber intake & moes performance 87mm throttle body. Should be done for a while after that.

Installed the mufflex DOD14m exhaust saturday, sounds better but still to quiet. Resonators are going to come off. I ordered a set of Pypes 4" outlet black powdercoat dual wall knife edge tips to top it off. Everything else is black, why not?

And have to tske it back to the tinter saturday morning. There is a bubble on the passenger window and probably going to tint over the factory tinted back glass.

Glad your liking your new truck. I jsut bought a 15 RT about 3 weeks ago, and Im in love. Had about 6-7 GMs over the last 10 years, and took a chance on something different just like you.

Dont regret a thing!

Pretty much the same way. I've had about 6 gm truck since 2004. And loved them all, even had a fast one that i dumped a ton of money into.

Wsnted to go Ram since they introduced this express package, glad i waited for the black edition. Out of the box this truck feels almost as fast as the crew cab that i dumped a ton of money into. Only difference umis that the 04 gmc wa violent on the line, and the power from the ram is surprising. It doesn't seem like its doing much, then you look down and damn, already at 70 mph. Like WTF? How did that happen?

Can't wait to get the resonators cut off, air grabber intake, Moes 87 mm tb & a good tune. Truck should really move out after that. Still considering headers at some point too and maybe the move to some factory 3.92's (the only option i really wanted that i did not get)

Oh and agreed. Not one regret, except for maybe not making the move sooner. Everything about this truck seems better that most of the past few gm's. Radio and speakers are light years better. Build quality has always been suspect with gm. Materials used seem better and the seats are far superior to thst in the 07-13 gm's. Ride quality, better.

I love my ram for sure.
