lq9 6.0 swap in a 05 ram 1500???
I have done quite a bit of research on this and have not found anything on it. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone that has done something like this or something similar to it? Any feedback at all would be great!!

I doubt you will find much on that swap. Aside from a few Dakotas and an older ram, I dont think Ive seen a swap in a ram that new.
On a side note, one of my favorite builds is from a member on here who did an LS1 swap in a mid 80's ram. BUT damn did he catch a lot of crap from the die hard Daimler boys!!

I would be afraid of the wiring harness work, but it would certainly get curious looks wherever you go.
I'd love to see it personally, but a Hemi swap might be easier, but I don't know much about the 2003+ trucks.

Do it! Would be a really good running ram and parts would be endless for it after the swap. There are plenty of shops out there who do custom harnesses just have to search I'm sure someone out there can fig it out for you. Now I wouldn't expect something like this do be real cheap I would expect to invest a little bit of cash into a custom harness and stuff to run it but everything else should be pretty typical of a 6.0 swap.

Do it bro only hard thing would prob be to get it to crank with its original key but u can get a push start switch.
Buddy did a 6.0 swap on his 03 lightning and came out nice but he does get alot of crap from the ford boys

Guys at Mayhem Motorsports in Raleigh NC are doing that swap right now, they have a customer of theirs with a ram 1500 that has a 6.0/4l80 setup 90% completed as of last week when I was there. Might want to give them a call and see what they had in the swap??
