Found a "good" deal on a 99 3/4 ton
Found a 99 Dodge Quad cab with the cummins with 200k miles and basically all the standard mods(Edge, Intake, 5" exhaust, lift pump). Comes with some custom wheels(on mud terrains) and factory wheels. Some of the normal maintenance has been replaced(ball joints, brakes, etc.).
I have always wanted a diesel and a Cummins is the one I want. Although I really have no need for one. I never pull, I live in town(although do lots of hunting, fishing, ice fishing, and off roading out of town) and have a 3 mile(one way) commute to work. I think this truck would be a good deal. My current truck I have, I have put roughly 25k miles on it in 3 years but I have had other toys in that period though(LS1 Firebird and currently a crotch rocket). The main thing holding me back is the PITA diesels are in cold weather. Roughly a 30 minute warm up is a must when its 10 or below.
Anyone have any advice for me?
