Default call me stupid (flame suit on)

ok so i have a 97 1500 RCSB ram.. and i have a CRAPPED out 360.. has anyone swapped in a cummins 12v auto setup in a RCSB? i am looking for good towing for my camaro and other small stuff.. ... i am not worried about the skill level involved.. and time i am not worried about also.. BUT wondered if it would all bolt up? IE motor mounts and BLA.... plan is to get a 2500 cummins 12v rollover chassis or something and basicly just swap EVERYTHING harness's ect then drop it 3/5 on 20's... what do yall think

short answer...no. A lot of money and fabrication would be involved.

The Cummins weighs more than what the back of a 1/2 ton can handle and will utterly destroy the front end of a '97 1500. Every RCSB Dodge diesel I've seen have been a shortened 2500 chassis. This would be your best bet other than building your shot 360 into a new, shiny 408.
