There is a valve cover crankcase vent available from Case tractors that helps a great deal, and some guys drill their stock valve covers and install universal breather filters.

Hah you are all over this forum man, that's a pretty stone age setup for an evac system.
My next question was going to be why nobody uses the factory vacuum pump to draw fresh air through the system?
Oh and how is that ok to have an unfiltered way for sand and dust to get into the crank case when it's not running, lets say in one of those Arizona sand storms?

If your worried about sandstorms and dust blowing in AZ on a older 12v then all you need to do is add a aftermarket breather tank to the end of the crankcase vent.
The reason that no one uses a evac system is they are not needed for highway usage. There is a system made that the 5.9 Cummins equipped Case tractors use but most guys just buy the valve covers for added venting on their high HP 12v trucks and not the evac system.
Back years ago this is what was the rage on the TDR board with the 12v guys who did alot of towing, maybe this will help you..
