Default 87 silverado lowered 2/4 trans yoke problem

about a month a go the tail housing on my 700r4 blew apart making a pass at about 1/2 track so just got it back together no one can tell me why it happen?

drive shaft is straight had it checked guy it it was only a tiny bit out of balance so i had him balance it (even though he said it really didnt need it) but he said since i lowered my truck the yoke is about 3/4" out from where it should be?

I never hard of any one complaining about this on the 73 to 87 2/4 dropped trucks? is there a fix?
