Ok... A little update on this thing. So i pulled everything apart last week and got the distributer out. The gear did look pretty chewed up as expected for 170k miles. I ended up buying an aftermarket distributer since the OE delco one is 400 bucks and made of plastic, vs 120 for a nice billet one! I also bought a set of the Bosch 4-hole injectors and a new FPR. Hope to have this thing back together over the weekend and am praying the misfire issue goes away. I will still need to bring it to someone to adjust the timing tho... Ill keep you guys in the loop.

Alright, So i got the truck all back together and the misfire is gone! It starts and idles great, however i do have the 1345 code now. I'll be dropping it off at a shop this week to have the timing adjusted. I don't think i'm that far off since its starts and idles so nicely. It drives pretty good too, the only thing i've noticed is that its a little sluggish on the freeway. Once timing is set, i should be all good.
