For the guys in Edmonton!!!
I need a rebuild on my 4l60 in my 2001 RCSB Silverado, any shops you guys recommend and why?
My first choice was to bring it back to Pro Trac Because I got my rear rebuilt, awesome service but after reading about the owner passing away and how the new mgnt jacked all the prices up and wouldn't warrenty any of the old work I didn't want to bother with them.
I emailed couple places and got a few quotes
Pro tech
western power Train
any others you guys recommend

Guess it's time for a bit of an update, between life getting in the way and other financial priorities, I never got around to pulling the trigger on that 07 ecsb, so after 6 months of searching a nice little gem decided to fall into my lap at my local dealer of all places, so I pulled the trigger on a 12 ccsb 5.3 with 90k on the meter, and so far just a debadge, pulled the mouldings off, hid the exhaust tip (i'm picky), tint, and dipped the chrome black for now, currently sitting at 2/3 and going down to 3/5 in the next few weeks, then AFM delete and a 226/231 .605"/.598" 113+4 cam, then going with either an s480 or s475 next spring. Shooting for around 800 to the ground.. Anyone else feel like posting up their rides or any updates?

TBI tuning
Hey,
Newer member here in Calgary. After a few months of searching I recently picked up an 89 GMC RCSS as a drivable summer project! One of the first things I need to do is get it tuned so it will run properly - it's got quite a few modifications done to the engine (bored to 355, 10:1 compression, edelbrock aluminum heads, holley EFI, Cam, and bolt ons) and is still running on the stock tune. Any recommendations on a good local tuner/chip burner for TBI?
Figured my first stop should be here in the Alberta Thread!
Thanks,
Drue
