Default Time for a new grill

Momma and the boys are going to get me a new grill for Father's Day.

I currently have this one.

I am not scared of gas. For all the gas haters, I cook on the grill at least 2 days a week during winter and definitely 4-5 times a week all other times. I am not setting up charcoal that often just for daily dinners. BUT I do understand and respect the differences and in such have always wanted a charcoal grill for those times I really want to use charcoal. I have had the above grill for 5 yrs. I wore that f'er out. I mean, it's a rust bucket on the inside. INSIDE! Plenty of 400* scenarios.

I am almost tempted to tell them to get me another Char Duo. But the fact that I don't really use charcoal that much, I was thinking about getting a gas setup with a side smoker of some sort. IDK...let's hear it...whatcha thinkin'?

Budget...eh, $350 tops. I don't need stainless fancy ****. Hell that 300 chargrill up above was 250 and weighs the same. In that pic, the tires are actually rubber. Plastic would break under the weight. Give me some ideas.

Dewey, I'll get you a pic of my new Brinkman. Just got it last month, it has a side burner and a smoker. So far I really like it. I had a charbroil before and didn't care for it. I use a seperate charcoal grill.

That's what I am talking about. You could cook some serious meat on that.

My current one. This smoker is probably 15 years old, and takes three men to move, and it is TINY! But solid as a rhino.

I will keep it though as it was HANDMADE by my late, Great Uncle

I love this one! Ah man...I want one. That is sooo me, a f'ing barrel grill on my front deck!

Those are all great, especially the one built by your late Uncle. But you need charcoal in those. I definitely need gas for convenience first, after that then coals and wood.

Pat, what's the smoker on that grill?
