Home made burger
I saw the thread with the stuffed burgers but how does everyone else do them?
Last night I made some and they turned out great! I make mine from fresh ground lean angus straight out of my brothers pasture I like mine a bit coarser ground than most. I place the beef in a large mixing bowl and allow to come to almost room temp. Then I mix in my liquids. I use some worstechire sauce, spicy mustard, Rudy's spicy BBQ sauce, and one yard egg. I mix all of that very well and then add my spices, Tony's and I started using some Hidden Valley Ranch packets (just the dry spices) and mix these in very well.
I also have some small pieces of bacon cooked up (just shy of being done) and cut into about 1/4" pieces, add them in and mix until evenly distributed. Then I make patties. I make mine thicker than most so you've got to be careful how you cook them.
I generally use a low-med indirect heat on the first side until they're cooked together well. Then turn and turn the fire up just a bit and cook for several more minutes. Using lean beef you won't have grease running out of the patty but they will still be juicy as hell if they're prepped right. Let that side cook and turn one more time. Allow to finish cooking and serve up!!
Doing them this way gives you tons of flavor, tender patties, and juicy burgers that aren't dripping with fat.

My favorite right now is a half pound burger stuffed with blue cheese chunks and three cheese slices and bacon on top, pepper jack Swiss and American is my choice right now. Grilled of course and sometimes onion soup mix, mixed into the burger.

My standard burger, mix the meat up in a bowl with chopped up bacon, lots of cheyenne powder, Grub rub(found at kroger), and honey. i sub out the cheyenne powder for fresh serranos (when my pepper plants are ready to be Picked).
and use Hawaiian bread sandwich buns.
Burger Number two: Surf and Terff !
same as my standard but buy fresh or frozen shrimp, peel and chop them up and mix into the meat.
when the shrimp turn pink your ready to eat.
also any fries that are not made by cutting up potatos, and frying them in vegetable oil at Home, can suck a big fat dick

Deer meat ground up some what coarse. Worstechire sauce, some smokehouse maple seasoning. mix it up really good till you can smell the seasoning and then the worstechire.
Patty them out nice and big, put in the freezer for a few minutes to "chill"
Throw on the grill and wait them out
i usually eat most of them while the bigger ones are cooking.....
