Hmmm I will have to try it , we have one about 25 min away I've never tried .

While we are talking food I'm going to rant ,
Fast food nowadays is ******* expensive and isn't as good as it used to be !

KFC is ******* rape for what they charge for chicken.
Arby's is is the same , so expensive.
McDonald sucks
Burger King sucks
Taco Bell gives diarrhea and costs more these days.

When it was just my wife and I it wasn't bad , but a family of 4 costs as much at fast food nearly as it does for a good sit down meal . WTF !

Because of this thread I had to get some five guys for dinner

Delicious. Not sure if its the same everywhere but here, they friggin fill that bag up with fries, basically 2 scoops of the cup. There is no point in ordering a large fry.

Ya they do the same here, you get a regular fry and its the cup plus about two more cups dumped in the bag. I got a large fry once, thats for like 3 people ( I am pretty sure it was a whole bag of potatos)

I have also come to the conclusion that the Jr. Burger is all I need.

If any of you guys come out to CA for any thing we have some good Burger's out here too!

Farmer Boys is one of my favorite burger joints out here I will drive clear across a few cities just to eat at one.

Inn-N-Out is also good with the Exception of Westminster and Fountain Valley CA locations.

Original Tommy's Burgers if you like chili with the exception of the Westminster CA location.

Angelo's #2 in Garden Grove CA make's a great burger, There near Disneyland. I drive across town to eat there.

Have heard 5 guys restaurant mentioned by a few friends that live in the states. Never had a chance to try them though when I traveled. My default burger joint when I am in lower 48 has always been in and out burger. Will have to find a 5 guys next time

They are delicious. I have one a mile down the road. It takes some serious will-power to NOT go there often.

For anyone looking to try this amazing meal here are some tips.

Regular fry is HUGE!!! Like some have said you get your cup(normal reg size) plus a pan full of fries. It is enough for two normal people.

There Hamburger is two patties. Not huge but two normal size patties. For the wimps or women you would want the "little hamburger. hahaha Obviously cheese and bacon burgers are the same.

P.S. Eat a little extra because I can't aford it right now due to loosing my job! I am also droping 25 lbs in the next two months to fight in the local toughman contest. We would typicaly get Five Guys once a week at work so it is very depressing part of cutting weight for the fights.

I am partial to Fuddruckers too! Ate there last night actually. The preg-o wife craves their seasoned fries these days so it gives me a chance to have one of their badass bacon cheese burgers every now and then.

I have only had 5 guys one time. It was de-lish though. I'm a bit of a burger freak lol.

Come to Anchorage, and find WeeBee's. That's all I have to say 'bout it.
