1/4 times if they make an 04 RC SS 6.0L?

OK judging off of what we see from the 5.3 RCSB stock rated at 285hp what do you think the 6.0l 345hp would do for track times? Anyone have dyno sheets for a stock 345hp 6.0L?
The stock 5.3s do 1/4 mile times at 15.4-15.0 at 90mph. So would it be safe to assume 14.5's at 95 in a RCSB 6.0L SS?

I thought that I'd heard of someone dropping an LQ9 into a truck and that it ran mid-high 13s? I'm not really sure what all was done to it.
I would think 14.20-14.40. My cammed 4.8 with nowhere NEAR the torque that a LQ9 has is running 15.20s in the heat, and that's with 272/262 to the wheels.

Are we talkig 20's and a 6 speed? Or the current SS set up in a reg cab- awd w/20's.
I'd bet consistent low 14's and possibly a 13.8-13.9 on a cooler day with a sub 2.0 60ft in the stripped down version.
No way is The reg cab awd ss version going to way under 4300lbs so I would say with the benefit of awd you might get consistent 14.2-14,4.
If I go with a lq9 this winter I'd better get 13.8 on a bad day next year.

Let's say rwd 6.0L in an auto like they said they might do for 04 under 30k. Basically a 5.3 RCSB truck we have now but with a stock 345hp 6.0L. I'm sure the guy that dropped a 6.0L in his truck did other mods on top of it.

blacksheep on here dropped an LQ9 in his truck with bolt ons, tuning, cam, some head work etc.. and made 390rwhp & 381ft/lb. Thats about as much power as many 5.3 guys get with a 100 shot, and there are quite a few supercharged guys not getting that much. He ran 12.9x on motor and his 12.4 is with a little spray.

The new reg cab has been rumored to have like 408HP instead of the 345 in the ext. I've read this in 2 different magazines now, so I really hope its true!

The reg cab concept truck that has been passed around for the last year has standard LQ4, not a LQ9. They took a standard LQ4, topped it off with milled LS6 heads to increase the compression to 10.5:1. GM says it has high 300s HP.

That brings up a point on the reg cab SS. It is supposed to come with a 4-link rear so that will help traction tremendously.

I would think a 6.0L 345hp RCSB would run at least mid to high 14's.
Recently while taking my truck for a warranty repair one of the service associates said that there is a new chevy or GMC that will be equipped with a 400hp 5.7 liter Z06 engine! Now I know how dealership people often have no idea what they are talking about BUT after reading other member posts here mentioning a 400hp+ truck maybe there is some truth to this! now maybe the truck wont have a 5.7L Z06 engine BUT 400hp+ is definitely possible, maybe from a built hi compression 6.0L!?
As we all know Chevy is in dire need of a fast sport truck to properly compete with Fords up and coming lightning and dodges SRT10.
