Default Interesting cam specs.....and VERY Interesting power results

the cam specs.....

the power.....

these numbers were achieved using the Showroom Stock GM LS1 heads I was asking about earlier, the stock 6.0 bottom end, and a VERY custom cam grind....

the software used was Dyno2003 by Motion Software, which has proven itself to be VERY accurate....it's used by NASCAR and NHRA drag-racing teams to build and test "digital engines" before they spend the money to build the real ones (accuracy is +/- 2%)

Uhhh......Fywheel, yes possible. Minus ~21% driveline loss and your in the 325rw range like I said in the other thread. That is flywheel right. I don't see ~415 happening at the wheels. Cuz if it does...holy ****!!!

the first cam specs were designed to produce the most torque possible at the lowest RPM's.....for the horsepower nuts out there that have high-stall converters and don't care about low-RPM torque try these numbers....

and the power.....

remember...this is ALL-MOTOR with mildly CNC ported and milled LS1 heads....basically 6.0 heads that have been cleaned up a little.....

how hard is that software to use, seems like i had some awhile back but it asked me a bunch of questions i couldn't answer and it didn't have any ls1 stuff on file.

Fast 4.8....those numbers are flywheel with all accessories attached (fan,waterpump/power steering)....
yeah, the numbers come out about to what you said.... ....the torque was my concern though and with 400+ ft/lbs from idle to 5500rpm's I should accelerate like crazy !!!

software is pretty easy to use...it's $129.00 and well worth the money (see...I DO buy software ), the new version comes with alot of LS1 specific parts and as long as you can find the flow numbers, cam specs or piston specs you can input any part you want

Oh I like it alright. I'll need you to run a test on my setup when I get it together.

parish8...with 20 psi and an intercooler (magnacharger) you would make 698hp @ 7000rpm and 587 fl/lbs @ 5500rpm !!!!....a 4L60 would last about 2 seconds behind that engine !!
