I want to get a performance torque converter for my truck, but I am confused what stall speed to get. I will do light towing with the truck, and I plan on having a supercharger, Radix installed within a year, so I do not want something that will tear up the tires all the time with a little gas pedal.
I know everyone yells the Yank 3000, but won't that cause a traction issue with future mods. I want to have 400rwhp from the truck when I am done, then I would be content!

The Yank 3000 has great street manners,it does exactly what is supposed to do in an almost invisable manner. The only slightly anoying thing about the converter is that it will roll backwards on a steep grade.Easing on power is not a problem, but you have to put your foot on the brake on a hill.

Listen to those who know. The Yank Truck Thruster 3000 or 3200 is the way to go. It's got the big clutch to tow all you want and will dramatically enhance your launch off the line. Dropped my times 6 tenths.
