Sierralade, I was checking out your turck and I really like it. I too have an ext cab with a system. I am having problems getting some decent bass out of my truck. I currently have 2jlaudiow0's rumming of an Orion XTR 800.4 Half of the amp is used for mids and highs and the other half is used for bass. i have been told the acoustics in an ext cab truck are not very good for bass. What are your experiences with the issue.

i have 2 10" cheap sony xplods in my ext cab, with a 150 watt, 2-way rockford fosgate amp bridged to 1 ohm, and let me tell you the thing bumps nice and clear. i was really surprised how the bass cleaned up once we bridged the amp and turned the gain down. i know if i go with jl audio subs, the thump will just get that much better

Well I have a DEI 1100d on my subs running at 1 ohm putting out approx 1400 watts.

Standing on the ouTside of my truck with the system all the way up the whole truck rattles.

And on the Inside its good clear bass.
NOt an ounce of distortion.

NOt to include the crystal clear sounds emmitting from my BOston Acoustics Component Sets.

So The problem is not your truck.

I would suggest running a seperate amp on your subs.
