Default Clunking noise when I stop and go

There is a loud clunking noise coming from the back when I come to a complete stop, and then when I go again. I think I might need a U joint, but I am not sure. Maybe someone knows what this is. Thanks.

Mine never had any clunking that I noticed, but did make a noise at 60 and faster. I thought it was exhaust leaking under the passenger seat. The front u-joint was toast and easy to see, it was rusted and had broken caps, the needles could be seen. I had to point it out to the dealer though <img border="0" alt="[guns]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> dealer service in warranty.
