Default night at the track

for the first time racing i thought i did ok. first run i ran a 15.5 at about 6:30....10:00 came around and i ran a 15 flat and would have beat the dakota r/t if he didn't jump the light. other than that i got beat by almost every muscle car there and a crummy VW Golf...i'm still scratchin' my head at that one. had a great time though.

well my slowass 235 tire spinnin 2.69 60ft ran a shitty 10.44 or something near that.

after that i parked it.

i think some tires would help the most
other than that i want to go mid/low 9s...
any ideas?

i thought 15.0's would be average for my truck, guess not. i was however hoping to break into the 14's and i think i can if i get a better reaction time (.980) and some cooler weather wouldn't hurt either. now it's time to invest in a few more horses and give it another go. thanks for the replies!

Your time doesn't start until you cross the line. So you could sit there an hour <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> and still run 15 flat. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
