Default Factory painted door handles?

Hey I just emailed this GM parts guy. I am wanting the factory painted door handles, like you see on the Tahoe LT, Suburban LT, Yukon Denali, etc. The guy said you have paint them yourself, but I thought since they come on the cars painted, I should be able to order them painted. I am looking for the bright red colored ones. So is this guy right? Or does anyone know what part #s I need? Thanks.

He is right. The only thing I have seen or heard of that comes painted is a C3 tailgate handle. And that only comes in pewter or black.

I've heard the same, I hope to get them from a salvage yard from a Tahoe or whatever with factory paint. Just need the cash, seems like I am always spending <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> , I got in on the group purchase of UPD intake and bought brake and signal LED's for my clears.

Check out www.partszoneonline.com. They sell the handles for $25 each and will paint for around $30. All they need is you vin code for the paint.

You could save some money by just sanding yours down and painting.
